Terms of Service

Last updated: 24 June 2026.

These terms govern your use of Harnests. By creating an account or running a job on this site, you agree to them. If you don't agree, please don't use the service.

Who you're contracting with

Harnests (harnests.com) is operated by [Operator Full Name], a sole trader based in the United Kingdom (referred to here as "we", "us", or "Harnests"). You can reach us at hello@harnests.com.

What the service is

Harnests is a pay-per-use catalogue of single-purpose AI tools. Each "job" is a small AI generation — for example a LinkedIn headline, a product description, or a wedding-speech outline. You fill in a few inputs, pay the listed price, and get back a generated output. There is no monthly subscription.

Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old (16 if you are in the EU/EEA) and have the legal capacity to enter into a contract in your country of residence. If you are using Harnests on behalf of a business, you confirm that you have authority to bind that business to these terms.

Accounts

You're responsible for keeping your login credentials secret and for everything done under your account. Tell us as soon as possible if you think your account has been accessed without permission. We may suspend or close an account that is being used to abuse the service, attack the system, or breach these terms.

Pricing, payment, and the "daily settlement"

Each job's price is shown on its page in GBP. Payments are processed by Razorpay Software Limited (India); we never see or store your card details. Where your bank converts to a currency other than GBP, your bank may apply its own conversion rate and fees — those are between you and your bank.

To keep card-processing fees sane on a £1 product, your day's runs are bundled into a single settlement so your card statement sees one line per day rather than one per job. You will still see each individual job on your Harnests receipt.

Prices may change in future. Changes only affect new runs — anything already started or completed is charged at the price shown when you ran it.

Right to cancel and refunds

Each AI job is a "digital content" supply under the UK Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013. When you click "run", you (a) give your express consent for us to begin supplying the digital content before the end of the 14-day cancellation period, and (b) acknowledge that you will therefore lose your right to cancel under those Regulations once the job has been started. We make this clear on the job page at the point of purchase.

Despite that, our refund stance is simple: if a generation fails on our side, you are not charged. If you got an output you can't use, reply to the receipt within 14 days and we will refund the £1 — no need to justify it. Repeated patterns of running and refunding may lead us to close the account.

Acceptable use

You agree not to use Harnests to:

Generate content that is illegal where you are or where we operate; impersonate real people in a misleading way; produce sexual content involving minors or any non-consensual sexual content; generate material designed to harass, threaten, or defame an identifiable person; produce content that facilitates fraud, malware, weapons of mass harm, or other serious illegal activity; reverse-engineer the service, scrape it at volume, or use it to build a competing catalogue; submit personal data about third parties for whom you don't have a lawful basis to process.

Our underlying AI providers (currently Anthropic, OpenAI, Google, Groq, fal.ai, and Together AI — see the Privacy Policy for the full list) also enforce their own usage policies. A job may be blocked or refused if it triggers their safety systems, and in that case you are not charged.

Your inputs and our outputs

You keep all rights to the text and other content you submit as inputs ("your inputs"). You grant Harnests a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to use your inputs solely for the purpose of running the job, returning the output to you, storing your run history, and operating, securing, and improving the service. We do not use your inputs to train AI models, and our AI providers do not use them to train their public models under our API agreements.

Outputs generated by Harnests ("outputs") are provided to you under the same terms as the underlying AI provider permits. As far as we are concerned, you are free to use the outputs for personal and commercial purposes. AI-generated outputs may not be copyrightable in some jurisdictions — that's a question of local law and is beyond our control.

You are responsible for reviewing outputs before you use them. AI models can be wrong, biased, or repeat something close to existing copyrighted text. Don't paste an output into a high-stakes context (legal, medical, financial, safety-critical) without a human checking it first.

Service availability

We aim to keep Harnests available, but we don't promise a specific uptime. AI providers have outages, networks have outages, and sometimes we just need to take the site down to fix something. If a job fails on our side, you are not charged.

Disclaimers and limit of liability

The service is provided "as is". To the maximum extent permitted by law, Harnests excludes all implied warranties, including fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement.

Nothing in these terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or for any other liability that cannot be excluded under the law of England and Wales.

Subject to the previous paragraph, our total liability to you for any claim arising out of or in connection with your use of Harnests is capped at the greater of (a) the amount you paid to Harnests in the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim, or (b) £100. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, or special damages, or for loss of profit, revenue, goodwill, or data.

If you use the outputs in your business, you accept that you are solely responsible for any business decision based on them.

Indemnity

You agree to indemnify and hold Harnests harmless against third-party claims arising from your inputs, your use of the outputs, or your breach of these terms — except to the extent the claim is caused by our own breach of these terms or our negligence.

Suspension and termination

You can close your account at any time by emailing hello@harnests.com from the email address on your account; we'll confirm closure and delete your data within the windows set out in the Privacy Policy. We may suspend or close your account if you breach these terms, if your payments cannot be collected, or if we are required to by law.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms occasionally. Material changes will be notified to account holders by email at least 14 days before they take effect. Continued use of the service after the effective date means you accept the new terms.

Governing law and disputes

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. Disputes will be dealt with in the courts of England and Wales, except that if you are a consumer resident in another country, you also keep the benefit of any mandatory consumer protections of your country of residence and may bring proceedings in your local courts where the law of your country requires.
